On June 20, 2024, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 07/2024/QĐ-TTg (“Decision 07”) regarding the issuance of the List of Products, Goods, and Services requiring standard contract and general trading conditions registration (“the List”). According to this decision, from July 1, 2024, organizations and individuals engaged in the business of products, goods, and services listed below, which have a large number of regular, continuous consumers and a direct, long-term impact on consumers, must register their standard contracts and general trading conditions with the state management agency responsible for consumer protection before using them to engage with consumers:

Compared to the previous regulations, Decision 07 has removed residential services provided by condominium management units from the list of products, goods, and services that require the registration of standard contracts and general trading conditions. Accordingly, organizations and individuals involved in these service areas will not need to register their standard contracts and general trading conditions starting from July 1, 2024.
Decision 07 takes effect from July 1, 2024, and replaces the following decisions:
- Decision No. 02/2012/QĐ-TTg;
- Decision No. 35/2015/QĐ-TTg amending and supplementing Decision No. 02/2012/QĐ-TTg;
- Decision No. 38/2018/QĐ-TTg amending and supplementing Decision No. 35/2015/QĐ-TTg.
