To promptly correct, and address existing limitations, and shortcomings, and continue to improve the efficiency of reduction, simplification, and favorable conditions for the resolution of administrative procedures ("AP"), the provision of public services ("PS") for citizens and businesses, on October 27, 2023, the Prime Minister issued Directive No. 27/CT-TTg to further promote reform measures and enhance the effectiveness of administrative procedure resolution and the provision of public services for citizens and businesses. Accordingly, ATA Legal Services has updated the following notable contents:

- Before July 1, 2024, connect and integrate the VNeID system, the national citizen database with the national PS gateway, and the AP resolution information system at the ministerial and provincial levels.

- 100% of AP files from ministries, sectors, and localities must be received and resolved through the AP resolution information system and must be interoperable and synchronized with the national PS gateway.

- Eliminate unnecessary APs and regulations that generate compliance costs, especially for citizens and businesses, in legal documents, especially specialized laws.

- Prohibit the request for citizens and businesses to provide information, documents, or the results of digitized AP resolution.

- Complete the regulation on exemptions and reductions in fees for electronic AP implementation by 2025.

- Digitize AP files and results, with 100% of district-level People's Committees authenticating electronic copies from the originals.

- Temporarily suspend the provision of online PS that does not meet requirements.
