On June 7, 2023, the Ministry of Finance issued Circular 37/2023 (“Circular 37”) to replace Circular 188/2016 (“Circular 188”) stipulating the collection rate, the regime of collection, payment, management, and use of driving test fees; fees for granting diplomas and certificates to operate on all kinds of vehicles and fees for registration and issuance of plates for special-use motorcycles. Accordingly, from August 1, 2023, the driving test fees will be adjusted to increase compared to the previous regulations, specifically as follows:

- The above-mentioned driving test fees are applied uniformly across Vietnam;
- The participants pay the driving test fee calculated according to the time of the test: the first test, the re-test.
