Recently, on November 18, 2022, the Vietnam Social Security has issued Documentary No. 3511BHXH-TST on intensifying solutions to reduce late payment of social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance premiums at the end of 2022. There are various strict measures against violating enterprises, specifically:
- Promote activities of inter-sectoral debt collector at provincial and district levels, organize working sessions with enterprises having late payment amount of social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance premiums to urge and require them on payment, avoiding new late payment amounts.
- Intensify specialized inspection for enterprises that are late for payment of at least 03 months.
- Apply administrative sanctions for violations; for units that have already been sanctioned for administrative violations but have yet implemented or deliberately refuse to do so, a decision on coercive measures of executing decisions on administrative violation sanction shall be issued as prescribed.
- In case of intentional delay/evading of payment, the dossier shall be transferred to police agencies for settlement.
- Publicize on the media about enterprise having late payment in a great amount or for a long period.
Accordingly, in the late 2022, businesses should pay attention to fulfill the payment obligation of social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance premiums in accordance with regulations to avoid legal consequences.
This Documentary took effect from November 18, 2022.
